Originally by: maria stallion It's becomming rather pathetic how many alliances and corps need to start attacking iss.
are you guys all that weak or is iss really that strong?
Disgruntled investor or atuk smakplank ?
hmmm, remind me who joined BOB to play eve on easy mode again ?
BOB has all of eve as enemie, why should it be easy mode? guys like you are making it easy for us since you only know how to hide when a real fight is comming.
It's easy because you joined an as yet, unstoppable juggernaut, that is BOB, who have steam rollered everything in their path, before you joined them - aka 'easy mode'
It's not me that's hiding, it's more likely to be ppl like you, hiding behind your alliance of 30 mil + skill point pvpers - aka easy mode
I like to call this behavior the "I win club". It forms in most every MMO. It starts to create it's own gravity after a while and starts to suck up all the games "talent". However after those who are easily persuaded are assimilated it starts to suck up those of lower personal 'Character'. Those who just want to win. It's a rude awakening when they don't win and when the aura of the I win club breaks the infighting is something to behold.
The question is will this game populace decide to break this I win club.
However, a carefully managed I win club has reaps the benefits of the occaisional not winning event to weed out those of weaker character, trimming off some fat and becoming stronger. Ony a poorly led alliance would be weakened by infighting.
this is so true, i've been part of the "I win club" corp/guild/clan in many games, and every single one has had infighting at some point. you finally get beaten and people go WTF? i remember on 1 instance in a game we controlled 4/5 area's and we thought ourselves unstoppable, we made a play for the 5th area and while we were out attacking the entire game came in and took areas 1-3... we managed to hold 4 and 5, but the loss of 1-3 made us seem alot less invincible.. we lost 2/3rd of our members, the ironic part, is that the following week, we finished the combat time with all 5 area's the people we had lost really didn't make that much difference, and with less people we worked as a better tight nit group able to respond and move around ALOT faster.
the end result was a smaller but ALOT stronger "i win club"
